conveyancing

Soo Hua joined the Firm as a legal assistant in 1999 before joining a company in Kuala Lumpur as a legal adviser advising on setting up of a company, legal compliances and legal matters, both contentious and non-contentious.

As he is quite an adventurous and freedom-loving young man (at that time), he gave up his job in Kuala Lumpur and went on to practise law in the United Kingdom at Central London where he specialised in Immigration and Investment Law.

He then developed an interest in cross-border transactions and joined a private firm in Italy dealing mostly on tax issues and cross-border transactions.

In 2005, he returned to Malaysia to join the Firm as a Partner when Datuk Seri Lee Kah Choon was appointed special adviser to the Chief Minister of Penang.

Soo Hua has advised on real estate matters such as commercial property acquisition for development purposes, real estate management, tenancy and leases, retail and corporate documentation for commercial development and other commercial documentation. In addition to this, he also does intellectual property matters.

Over the course of his practice, Soo Hua has personally drafted Joint Venture Agreements, Share Sale Agreements, housing and project related documentation and agreements for our clients.

Soo Hua currently handles both real estate and corporate conveyancing matters.
